Richard Rodriguez-Campbell
After earning his J.D. from Pepperdine University, Richard began practicing in Los Angeles before moving to the Bay Area and founding BearingStone Law. While in Los Angeles, Richard served as an extern to the Honorable James J. After passing the bar exam, Richard practiced law at a Southern California insurance defense firm handling civil cases involving construction defects, general liability, toxic tort, wrongful death, business litigation, and asbestos exposure, and at a downtown boutique Los Angeles firm where he litigated state and federal civil cases in the areas of labor and employment, government liability, general liability, and Constitutional law civil rights.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Richard was a scientist, studying biochemistry at UCLA and working as a cancer researcher at Cedars-Sinai and for a non-profit institute. His scientific work has been published in numerous journals, and he’s presented his research at oncology conferences around the world.
Richard lives in Lafayette with his wife, three children and yellow lab. When he’s not at home or in the office, he’s traveling with his family, on the golf course, or working at his family’s vineyard and winery.
